What is intimate photography?

Intimate photography is a new genre that we have created that blends fashion with sexy boudoir style of photography. Our shoots are intimate, customised and a celebration of you!

Who can participate in an intimate photo shoot?

Anyone over 18 years of age. Our intimate shoots recognise the beauty in all genders, shape, colour, size, and background.

Do I have to pose nude?

Absolutely not. This is your experience and we are led by you in this regard. You may wish to keep things subtly sexy or bare all.

Will my photos be kept private?

Of course. We do not use or publish any of your images without consent from you.

Can I bring someone with me?

We find our guests have a better experience and feel less self conscious if there isn’t a friend or partner in the room. This is YOUR experience and better to not have an observer during this intimate shoot.

How should I prepare for my session?

After booking your shoot you will receive a guide to help prepare for your shoot. You will also receive a link to fill in an online questionnaire where you can explore your preferred style of photography. Closer to the shoot our stylist will give you a call and discuss the shoot and answer any questions you may have.

Do you offer hair and makeup services?

We love to keep things pretty natural at Verve and showcase the real you. All our clients do their oen hair and make up as they would when they go out for dinner. If you do wish to go for something more dramatic and use a professional make up artist, you are more than welcome to do so. Our lighting and guided poses will ensure you look absolutely fabulous without a thick layer of make up.

I have never modelled before, how will I know what to do?

Our highly experienced photographers will guide you through the entire shoot. The are masters at finding the best poses and lighting to suit your body and face.

How long does a session take?

Our intimate shoots last for 90 minutes. We do suggest you arrive 10-15 minutes early so you can relax into the space and enjoy a refreshing drink ahead of the photo shoot.

Can I do an intimate shoot if I’m pregnant?

Absolutely. We love photographing women at this very special time in their lives.

Can there be a female photographer available?

Almost all of our photographers are female. If you prefer to have a female, please let us know and we will ensure this is arranged for you.

Can I have my photos turned into an album?

Yes we offer stunning printed portfolio books and albums to archive your images for your lifetime.

What is the cost of an intimate photography shoot?

Our intimate photo shoots cost $595 which includes a stylist call ahead of the shoot, a 90-minute photoshoot, an image reveal 3 days later and a fine art print to start your collection.

How much do you charge for digital files?

Our digital files are sold in sets and work out to be between $75 – $133 per file depending on how many images you purchase.

Boudoir Photography Experience & Purchased Boudoir Photography Gift Experience

We love making your experience special — and that starts with keeping things clear and flexible. Here’s what you need to know about our Verve Intimate Boudoir Photography Experience:

Purchased Boudoir Photography Experiences are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. This means your photoshoot must be booked within this time.
Need more time? If life gets a little hectic (we get it!), simply email us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to extend your booking window.
Can’t use your Experience? You’re welcome to transfer it to someone else — just let us know.
Boudoir Photography Experiences aren’t redeemable for cash and can only be used as outlined by Verve Intimate.
After buying your Experience, you’ll be prompted by email or SMS to book a scheduling call with our team. On your scheduling call, we’ll review your nominated preferred photoshoot dates against available appointments in our calendar and finalise your photoshoot date and time.
In the unlikely event that after reasonable efforts to contact you we’re not able to get hold of you to finalise your photoshoot date and time, your session may be released. Unfortunately, these cancellations aren’t eligible for refunds, as time and resources have already been allocated to your session. We always strive to handle changes with transparency, fairness, and kindness.
To help tailor your experience, all guests are required to complete a short online creative profile before their shoot.
If you don’t attend your scheduled photoshoot or design consultation without notice, your Boudoir Photography Experience will be forfeited.
You must be at least 18 years of age on the date of your photoshoot.

Purchased Boudoir Photography Gift Experiences can’t be redeemed for cash, or used toward previous photoshoots.

In the unlikely event that after reasonable efforts, we’re not able to get hold of them, their session may be released. Unfortunately, these cancellations aren’t eligible for refunds, as time and resources have already been allocated to their session. Complimentary Boudoir Photography Gift Experiences & Prizes

From time to time, we love surprising our community with Complimentary Boudoir Photography Gift Experiences or prizes — a heartfelt invitation to step into the spotlight, on us. To keep things smooth and seamless, here are the terms that apply:

Validity: Complimentary Boudoir Photography Gift Experiences and prizes are valid for 2 months from the date they’re received. Your photoshoot must be booked within this timeframe.
Fundraiser Experience Validity: Boudoir Photography Experiences obtained through fundraising events have a 6 month validity from the date of the event.
Need more time? If life gets a little hectic (we get it!), simply email us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to extend your booking window.
Exclusivity: Complimentary gift experiences and prizes are not redeemable for cash, cannot be combined with any other promotion or special offer, and must be used as outlined by Verve Intimate.
Not transferable: These complimentary gift experiences and prizes are non-transferable for other services and may not be used to purchase images from previous photography sessions.
One per year: Only one complimentary gifted experience or prize may be redeemed per person per calendar year.
Securing your session: To secure your Boudoir Photography Experience, a fully refundable $195 holding deposit is required at the time of booking. This will be refunded after your image reveal session. After paying your holding deposit, our team will contact you by email or SMS to book a scheduling call. On your scheduling call, we’ll review your nominated preferred photoshoot dates against available appointments in our calendar and finalise your photoshoot date and time.
In the unlikely event that after reasonable efforts to contact you we’re not able to get hold of you to finalise your photoshoot date and time, your session may be released. Unfortunately, these cancellations aren’t eligible for refunds, as time and resources have already been allocated to your session. We always strive to handle changes with transparency, fairness, and kindness.
Fairness & discretion: Verve Intimate reserves the right to withdraw a complimentary gift experience or prize at any time. In the unlikely event this happens, any payments made (such as a holding deposit) will be fully refunded. We always strive to handle changes with transparency, fairness, and kindness.
Minimum age: The complimentary gift experience or prize recipient must be at least 18 years of age on the date of their photoshoot.
Final note: If your appointment isn’t confirmed by yourself, Verve Intimate reserves the right to cancel your session or consultation.

Love Your Images Guarantee

We proudly offer a “Love Your Images” Guarantee to ensure complete peace of mind when purchasing a Verve Intimate Experience. If you attend your photoshoot and subsequent design consultation and, upon viewing your images for the first time, feel that you do not love the images presented, you may request a full refund of your purchased Verve Intimate Experience voucher. (Please allow time for your bank to process the refund – once we’ve issued it, the rest is up to them.) There is no obligation to purchase artwork. This guarantee applies only at the initial design consultation when images are first viewed and must be exercised at that appointment. Once you select images and proceed with the purchase of artwork, it is deemed that you love your images and the guarantee is no longer applicable. Requests made after the design consultation or following the purchase of artwork are not eligible under this guarantee.

Rescheduling Your Photoshoot or Design Consultation

We get it — life happens. If you need to reschedule, here’s how it works:

You’re welcome to reschedule your appointment once, free of charge, as long as you give us at least 5 days’ notice.
If you provide less than 5 days’ notice, reschedule more than once, or miss your appointment altogether, any fees paid will be non-refundable. A new $195 booking fee will be required to rebook.

All rescheduled appointments must occur within 6 months of the original date and are subject to availability.

Cancelling your photoshoot

Change of heart? We understand – here’s how cancellations work. We want every guest to feel genuinely confident and excited about their Boudoir Photography Experience with us. If you decide this is no longer right for you, the following terms apply:

Before or during your scheduling call You’re welcome to cancel your Experience over the phone with our team during business hours at any time prior to completing your scheduling call. In this case, a full refund will be provided.
After your scheduling call During your scheduling phone call, we take the time to answer your questions and formally lock in your photoshoot date and time. Once this call has been completed, your session is considered confirmed. As our team, studio time, and resources are carefully allocated from this point, cancellations made after the scheduling call are not eligible for a refund.
How to cancel All cancellations must be made by phone during business hours so we can support you properly. We’re unable to accept cancellations via email, text message, or voicemail. We always strive to handle changes with transparency, fairness, and kindness.

At Verve Intimate, your privacy, comfort, and trust are at the heart of everything we do. We understand that boudoir photography is a deeply personal and empowering experience, and we are fully committed to keeping your images and personal information safe, confidential, and protected at all times.

In handling your personal information, Verve Intimate is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in that Act. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we collect, hold, use and disclose it, how you can access or correct it, and how to make a privacy complaint. This policy may be updated from time to time — see Section 14 below.

1. Confidentiality Promise

All sessions, images, and client information are treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Your images will never be shared, published, or displayed without your explicit consent.

No images are used for marketing, portfolio, or social media purposes unless you have signed a separate model release.
Choosing not to sign a model release has no effect on the quality of your session or the services provided.
Only authorised Verve Intimate staff, contractors (e.g. editors) and suppliers (e.g. photo lab) may access your images, and only for essential professional purposes.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

Personal information is information or an opinion about an identified, or reasonably identifiable, individual. In providing our services, Verve Intimate may collect:

Contact and identification information, such as your name, address, phone number(s) and email address;
Images of you captured during your photography experience;
Booking preferences and details about your session, including styling, hobbies or interests, used to personalise your experience;
Payment and billing details, for the purpose of processing payment for your session, products or vouchers;
Any other information you voluntarily provide to us during your interactions with Verve Intimate.

You are under no obligation to provide your personal information to us. However, without certain information, we may not be able to provide our services to you.

3. How We Collect Your Personal Information

Generally, we collect your personal information directly from you, through:

Booking forms completed online or in person, including via our website;
Face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, or other direct correspondence;
Your photography session itself; and
Cookies or similar technologies when you use our website, where applicable.

On rare occasions, we may collect personal information about you from a third party (for example, if you are referred to us by a friend or family member) where it is unreasonable or impractical to collect it from you directly.

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

We collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information where reasonably necessary to:

Provide your photography session, including bookings, consultations, image delivery, prints, albums and vouchers;
Communicate with you about your booking, orders, enquiries or requests;
Process payments and carry out accounting, billing and other internal administrative purposes; and
Carry out market and product analysis to improve our services.

We will only use your image, quotes or other content in marketing materials, on our website, portfolio or social media where you have given explicit consent (see Section 1). We may also use your personal information for related purposes you would reasonably expect, or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

5. Image Storage and Security

Your images are securely stored in password-protected systems. We take steps reasonable in the circumstances to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including:

Digital files are stored internally on secure servers with limited staff access. Our servers are held offsite in a data centre to help prevent loss through fire or theft;
Digital files are also made available to you through a password-protected online gallery;
Files transmitted outside of Verve Intimate are only sent through secure, password-protected links or private client galleries; and
We do not sell your personal information or images to any third party.

6. Who We Disclose Your Information To (Including Overseas)

We disclose your personal information only for the purposes set out in this policy, or as otherwise required or authorised by law. This may include disclosure to:

Authorised Verve Intimate staff, and contractors such as photo editors, engaged to perform services on our behalf;
Suppliers involved in the production of your photography products, such as photo labs and print providers;
Third-party providers of financial or payment processing services, where needed to process your payment;
Our professional advisors, such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary; and
People or entities considering acquiring an interest in Verve Intimate’s business or assets, on a confidential basis.

Overseas disclosure: Verve Intimate engages contractors and staff located overseas who may support functions such as photo editing, telephone and customer service support, administration, human resources and finance. Where this occurs, your personal information — which may include your contact details, images, booking information or payment-related records, depending on the function being performed — may be accessed or processed outside Australia.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas personnel and contractors handle your information securely and in a manner consistent with this policy and the Australian Privacy Principles, including through secure systems, restricted access, and confidentiality obligations in our contractor and employment agreements.

We do not otherwise share or sell your personal information or images to third parties for their own use.

7. Direct Marketing

With your consent, Verve Intimate may use your contact details to send you information about services, products, offers or promotions that may be of interest to you, from Verve Intimate or selected third parties. You can opt out of direct marketing at any time by:

Emailing [email protected] or calling 1300 860 831;
Clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send you; or
Using any other opt-out mechanism we provide (for example, in an SMS message).

8. Retention and Deletion of Files

Images you purchase are securely archived and retained indefinitely.
Images you do not purchase are eventually deleted to make space for future sessions. This does not happen immediately, but typically occurs between 6-12 months following your session.
Once non purchased images have been cleared from our systems, they cannot be recovered.
You may request early deletion of your purchased images or remaining files at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or 1300 860 831.

9. Privacy During Your Session

All our photographers are female and only female staff will be in your shoot experience.
You may request a closed studio for additional privacy, where only your photographer is present in the studio room.
We ensure a professional, respectful environment where your comfort is our priority.
At times, a Verve Intimate content creator may be present in the studio to capture behind-the-scenes highlights — including hair and makeup, your session, and your image reveal. You will always be given the opportunity to opt out of having your experience highlights captured before this takes place.

10. CCTV

CCTV is used in Verve Intimate locations for security and compliance purposes. CCTV cameras are only located in foyer and/or design cinema areas, and are never used in photography studios or change rooms.

11. Call Recording

Inbound and outbound phone calls to and from Verve Intimate may be recorded for quality control, training and coaching purposes.

12. Your Rights – Access, Correction and Deletion

You have control over your personal information and images. At any time, you may request to:

Access and review the personal information we hold about you;
Correct any personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading;
Request deletion of your data or images (see Section 8); and
Withdraw any prior consent you have given for image use or marketing.

To help us locate your information and protect your privacy, we may ask you to provide proof of identity. In some cases, a reasonable administration fee may apply to cover the cost of an access request, where permitted by law. We will respond to your request promptly and take steps to ensure your information remains accurate, complete and up to date. Requests can be made by email to [email protected] or by phone on 1300 860 831, and will be honoured promptly.

13. Privacy Complaints

If you have a concern or complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact Verve Intimate’s Privacy Compliance Officer at [email protected] or 1300 860 831. Your complaint will be:

Treated seriously;
Dealt with promptly;
Handled in a confidential manner; and
Will not affect your existing obligations or commercial relationship with Verve Intimate.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect new privacy practices or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on our website, and you will be notified if a change materially affects your rights.
